What it is used for
Ibuprofen is used to relieve mild to moderate pain, such as headache, toothache, period pain, back pain, and muscle and joint pain. It is also used to bring down a fever and to reduce pain and swelling in arthritis, sprains and strains. A liquid form is used for fever and pain in children.

- Do not take it with other anti-inflammatory painkillers, such as diclofenac, naproxen or aspirin for pain.
- Use it for the shortest time needed, especially if you are older or have heart or kidney problems.
