Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 2026 · Soft launch · Dhaka, Bangladesh
1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Mukti websites, applications, and related services operated under mukti.health and its subdomains (together, “Mukti”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Mukti, you agree to these Terms.
2. Who we are
Mukti is a digital healthcare coordination platform connecting patients, doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, and riders. Contact: support@mukti.health.
3. Not a substitute for emergency care
Mukti does not replace national emergency services. Platform features (including ambulance requests) may depend on partner availability, network coverage, and verification status.
4. Eligibility & accounts
You must provide accurate registration information. Patients under 18 must be linked through a parent or guardian account where the product supports that model. Professionals (doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, riders) may require verification of licences, NID, trade documents, or other credentials before full access.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Misrepresent identity, credentials, or medical information
- Abuse, harass, or endanger other users or partners
- Attempt unauthorised access to systems, data, or other accounts
- Use Mukti for unlawful activity under the laws of Bangladesh
- Upload malware or interfere with platform security or availability
Conduct on digital systems may also engage the Information and Communication Technology Act, 2006 and the Cyber Security Act (as amended, including developments under Bangladesh cyber security legislation). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
6. Healthcare content & AI
Information on Mukti, including any AI assistant responses, is for general support and navigation of services. It is not a diagnosis, prescription, or replacement for professional medical advice. Always follow guidance from licensed clinicians and authorised facilities.
7. Partners & third parties
Hospitals, doctors, pharmacies, and riders are independent providers. Mukti facilitates coordination and does not guarantee clinical outcomes, stock availability, or response times. Payments, where enabled, may involve third-party processors subject to their own terms.
8. Consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009 of Bangladesh or other mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived by contract.
9. Intellectual property
Mukti branding, software, content, and materials are protected under Bangladesh law, including the Copyright Act, 2000 (as amended). See our Copyright page.
10. Privacy & cookies
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Cookie use is described in our Cookie Policy.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Bangladesh law, Mukti is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the platform, partner services, network failures, or force majeure. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to fees you paid to Mukti (if any) in the three months before the claim, except where liability cannot be limited by law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited).
12. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Courts in Dhaka shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory venue rules. Parties should first attempt good-faith resolution via support@mukti.health.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms as the product and law evolve. Material changes will be indicated by updating the date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
This page is general information for Mukti users and is not formal legal advice. For regulated healthcare operations, additional contracts and licences may apply.
