Copyright Notice

Ownership

Mukti Health Ltd owns, or is licensed to use, its software, source code, apps, screens and their design, written content, the way its databases and catalogues are selected and arranged, its interfaces, and its names and logos. These are protected by the Copyright Act, 2023, the Trade Marks Act, 2009 and other laws of Bangladesh and, where they apply, of other countries.

These laws apply whether or not you have an account or have accepted our Terms. Using a name, logo or look that misleads people can also be passing off, and getting round the security of Mukti's systems may be an offence under the cyber security law in force in Bangladesh.

What you may do

• View and use Mukti services for their intended personal or authorised professional purpose
• Share public links to our website pages
• Quote short excerpts with clear attribution to Mukti for non-commercial commentary or news

What you may not do

Unless we agree in writing or the law allows it, you must not:

• remove copyright or proprietary notices;
• reproduce investor or confidential materials outside authorised recipients;
• copy, reproduce, sell or publish all or a substantial part of Mukti's software, content, screens, databases or catalogues;
• scrape, crawl or bulk-download Mukti's services or data, by automated means or otherwise, including to train an artificial intelligence system, except for exporting your own records or using an interface we provide for that purpose;
• reverse-engineer, decompile or take apart Mukti's software, or get round its security, licence or access controls;
• use your access to Mukti, or anything you learn from non-public parts of it, to build, train or improve a product or service that copies it;
• use a name, logo or look that could make people think something is from, or connected with, Mukti.

What this does not stop

You may use the service as intended, and keep and share copies of your own health records and your own information. An organisation may export its own records. Nothing here stops you from building or using a competing product by your own independent work, or from doing anything the law allows you to do regardless of this notice and our Terms. Open-source software and open data included in Mukti stay under their own licences, and nothing here limits the rights those licences give. We do not claim ownership of ideas, general methods or medical facts.

If this is broken

We may suspend or end access, keep the evidence, report the matter to the authorities and, subject to section 12 of our Terms, bring a claim in the courts of Bangladesh. That section does not stop us seeking an urgent order to stop the copying in any court with jurisdiction. We may ask the court for an order to stop the copying, and for compensation, the profits made from it, delivery up or destruction of copies, and our legal costs, as the law allows. Criminal law may also apply. These protections continue after your account ends.

User content

You retain rights in content you lawfully submit (for example profile information or messages). By submitting content to Mukti you grant us a licence to host, process, and display it as needed to operate the service, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

Infringement

If you believe material on Mukti Health infringes your copyright, write to support@mukti.health with your contact details, a description of the work, the URL or location of the material, and a statement of good-faith belief that use is not authorised.

Trademarks

“Mukti”, the Mukti logo, and related marks are trademarks or trade identifiers of Mukti. Other names mentioned (for example partner hospitals) may be trademarks of their respective owners.
