How Mukti uses AI

Mukti uses AI to help you find care faster and to keep the service running smoothly. It never replaces a doctor, and people stay in charge of every decision that matters.

Mukti AI in the Mukti Health app

What it can do

  • Help you judge how urgent a problem sounds, from what you write.
  • Give general health information in Bangla or English.
  • Help you find the right kind of care: Mukti then searches its own verified doctors, hospitals and medicines.
  • Read a prescription photo into a list of medicines, which you check one by one before anything is added to your cart.

Mukti AI is optional. The app asks your permission before anything is sent, and you can withdraw it at any time in AI privacy & data. Appointments, medicines, ambulances and every other service work without it.

Its limits

What it cannot do

  • Diagnose an illness or tell you what you have.
  • Prescribe a medicine or work out a dose for you.
  • Replace a doctor, or a visit when you need one.
  • Handle an emergency: it tells you to call 999 straight away.

In an emergency, call 999. If you write about chest pain, breathing trouble, heavy bleeding or anything like it, Mukti AI stops and tells you to call 999 now, and shows you Ambulance and the nearest emergency department.

Behind the scenes

Mukti's operations helpers

A small set of AI helpers watches the service for the Mukti team: messages that failed to send, orders that are running late, support questions and new applications. Each one has a setting the team chooses:

Off
The helper does not look.
Report only
It finds problems and reports them to the team; it changes nothing.
Suggest
It proposes a step, and a person approves it first.
Auto-fix
Only a short list of fixed steps that can be undone, such as resending a message that failed or telling a patient their order is running late. Everything it does is recorded.
Trial run
For a set number of days it records what it would have done, without doing it, so the team can check it first.

At any setting

What a helper never does

  • Approve or reject a doctor, hospital, pharmacy or rider (a person always decides)
  • Change a price, a fare or a discount
  • Issue a refund or a payment
  • Read or change anyone's health record
  • Change who can see or do what
  • Delete anything
  • Message a patient about a medical matter
  • Handle an emergency alone (the person on call is always told)

These limits are built into Mukti's systems, not left to the AI. A support message about an emergency or a medical question always goes to a person, never to a helper.

After a visit

Check-in messages

After a consultation or a hospital stay, Mukti may send one check-in in the app: “Did you get your medicine? Any new problems?” You answer from a few choices. If you say you have no medicine or a new problem, a person from Mukti follows up. The message never gives a diagnosis, and if you choose “emergency” it tells you to call 999.

People decide

Approving a provider, refunds, prices, records and anything medical are decided by people. A helper's suggestion waits for a person's yes.

Doctors check doctors' work

When a doctor dictates notes in the Mukti Doctor portal, the text is the doctor's to read and correct before anything is signed. Health articles appear on mukti.health only after a named doctor has reviewed them.

Your data

What is sent to the AI service, where it is processed and how long it is kept is set out in section 9 of our Privacy Policy. Mukti does not use your conversations for advertising.

Report an AI error

Tell us when the AI gets it wrong

If Mukti AI, a check-in or a support reply said something wrong, unsafe or confusing, tell us. A person reads every report, and it helps us correct the AI's limits.

Please leave out health details we do not need to understand the error. This form is not for emergencies: call 999.
