A message from our Regulatory & Quality Adviser
Every medicine a patient takes rests on standards they will never see. Is it genuine? Was it stored correctly? Is the information that comes with it accurate? Patients should never have to ask these questions. Answering them carefully, before anyone needs to ask, is the work of regulation and quality.
I have spent many years in the healthcare sector, and today I work as a Regulatory & Quality Specialist at Roche Bangladesh Limited, an affiliate of Roche. That work has taught me one lesson above all. Quality is not a final check at the end. It is built into every step, by people who do the right thing when no one is watching.
I have also learned that regulatory requirements are not paperwork. Each one exists because, somewhere, a patient was once put at risk. Following them faithfully is one of the most practical ways to protect people, and every family in Bangladesh deserves that protection, wherever they live.
That is why Mukti Health matters to me. It brings doctors, diagnostic services, pharmacies and ambulance teams together on one platform, which means it can hold all of them to one clear standard. A patient should receive the same care and the same honesty, whichever partner serves them.
Medicine quality is where this is felt most directly. Medicines on Mukti Health come from licensed partner pharmacies, and the standard does not end there: how medicines are stored and handled, how they reach the door, and how quickly a product in doubt is taken off the shelf matter just as much.
As Regulatory & Quality Adviser, my role is to help Mukti Health build these standards into its everyday work: clear expectations for every partner and pharmacy, careful records, honest information for patients, and the habit of reviewing what we do and improving it.
Good standards are rarely noticed when they work. Patients simply receive what they were promised, every time. That quiet reliability is what I hope to help Mukti Health deliver, and I am glad to be part of the team building it.
Kind regards,Pritu Saha RahulRegulatory & Quality Adviser, Mukti Health
