A message from our co-founder
Every time a family turns to us for care, it is an act of trust: in the doctor they consult, the pharmacy that supplies their medicine and the people who bring it to the door. Making sure that trust is never misplaced is why I co-founded Mukti Health.
I studied Biochemistry at King's College London, and I work as a pharmacovigilance associate at PrimeVigilance Ltd. Pharmacovigilance is the discipline of monitoring medicines once they are in use: how they behave in real patients, which side effects emerge, and what must be done when a risk appears. It has taught me that safety is not a single check, but a habit kept every day.
Families in Bangladesh deserve that same confidence. When they see a doctor or order a medicine, they should not have to wonder whether the advice is sound, whether the medicine is genuine and has been stored properly, or what to do if something feels wrong afterwards.
As Head of Patient Safety, that is the part of Mukti Health I look after. My focus is on everything that keeps patients safe on the platform: safety checks built into how doctors prescribe, medicine information that is accurate and easy to understand, a clear way for patients to tell us when something goes wrong, and swift action when a medicine is recalled or in doubt.
Safety should be quiet. Patients should not have to think about it, because it has already been thought about for them, carefully and consistently, behind every consultation and every order.
Building Mukti Health alongside Masum Billah Abir and Sajid Mahmud Saad is personal to me. We share one conviction: people should be able to rely on Mukti Health every time they need it, and that reliance has to be earned, order by order.
