What it is used for

This combination inhaler is used in asthma to control symptoms and reduce the risk of attacks. It is also used in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) to ease breathlessness and reduce flare-ups. How it works

Common side effects include a hoarse voice, sore throat, oral thrush (a fungal mouth infection), headache, shaky hands and a fast heartbeat. Rinsing the mouth after use lowers the risk of hoarseness and thrush.
