What it is used for
Cetirizine relieves allergy symptoms. It is used for hay fever and year-round allergic rhinitis, which cause sneezing, a runny or itchy nose, and itchy, watery eyes. It is also used for hives (urticaria) and itchy skin caused by allergies. Drops and syrup are available for children.
